My love for crafting came from my mom. We did not have much growing up, but my mom would say “We may live in the projects, but the projects is not in us". She always found ways to make things beautiful and I love that. I loved watching her create home decor from discarded items and give them new life. Growing up, my mom called me Della (
My love for crafting came from my mom. We did not have much growing up, but my mom would say “We may live in the projects, but the projects is not in us". She always found ways to make things beautiful and I love that. I loved watching her create home decor from discarded items and give them new life. Growing up, my mom called me Della (my middle name is Vandella), because she loved the 50s singing group “Martha & The Vandella’s". I lost my mom recently, and I felt the need to reinvent my business in honor my mom. Crafting is therapeutic for me, and I would love to help others find joy in crafting.
